Needed a backflow valve tested per city of GR, as well as a repair on that line. Den was able to come out the next day and take care of it. He and his assistant were running behind due to the previous appointment, but called to let me know. They completed the work as requested and were professional while they were here. Quoted price was less than an alternative quote, and was billed accurately. Would call again.

Mark spent time on the phone listening to my concern to determine if a service call was needed. He gave me some guidance to test things on my own, before he sent someone out on a service call fee. I appreciate his approach to help and save me an expense that might not be necessary. Den Ketelaar did my original plumbing installation and I'm really happy I called them first with this issue. Thank you!

I had no hot water Tuesday. They came out and installed a new water heater. An hour after they left, still ice cold water. Turns out that it was an electrical issue and the unit was getting no power. They replaced a perfectly good heater. They did nothing to check if the old unit was actually not working nor did they even use an $8 voltage meter to see if the unit had power. Not even a "Whoops, we are sorry." I was told that I wanted a new heater and I got one. When I asked if they typically do something simple like verify the unit has power, I was told that every installer does it differently, whatever that means. So you had better diagnose exactly why you have a plumbing issue before calling this outfit. Awful.

Excellent response time. Spoke with Joe in the office about a non-urgent matter. Andrew came the following day. He was friendly and very efficient. I was pleased with pricing and highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience with Den Ketelaar Plumbing. Our hot water heater decided to spray water in our mechanical room and ended up causing some flooding in our finished basement.
